when much people were gathered together, and were come to him out of every city, he spake by a parable: A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the way side; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it. And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture. And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprang up with it, and choked it. And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And when he had said these things, he cried, He that hat hears to hear, let him hear. And his disciples asked him, saying, What might this parable be? And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand. Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved. They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away. And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection. But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.

Luke Ch. 8 verse 4-15

Monday, January 13, 2014
And the Lord appeared to Solomon by night, and said unto him, I have heard thy prayer, and have chosen this place to my self for an house of sacrifice. If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place.

2nd Chronicles Chapter 6 Verse 12-15

The writer begins here with “If my people”, lets look for a minute at the word people, who is his people, keep in mind now the Lord was speaking to Solomon, so the Lord was speaking concerning HIS creation, those he knew were deep in sin, those who were WICKED as the scripture speaks of. I am reminded of the scripture in Matthew Ch. 16 verse 4: A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. And he left them, and departed.

Look at the word humble and study about what it means; a person that is humble is someone that is not PROUD but broken. Psalm Ch. 34: verse 18 says; The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. The word broken means not complete, the Holy Spirit revealed to us we were missing something very important in our life, we had a void that could not be filled with any worldly goods or possessions. Contrite means feeling or showing regret for bad behavior. If someone is regretful for the sin committed against the Lord and realized they have sinned against him ALL PROUDNESS leaves that person and they become humble. They become fit for the Kingdom of God, they have come to a point in life where they can surrender themselves to Christ and he will life them up and cast away all sin.

What does it mean to pray? Prayer is defined as a conversation between you and God thru Jesus Christ. Romans Ch. 8 verse 26-28 says; Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. When you and I went to the altar to pray or where ever you prayed the pray for forgiveness, we had no idea what we needed to pray, we just knew we were lost and headed to a lake of fire. But when we bowed our knees before him the Lord began to take over and interceded for us. Then we received the forgiveness of sin, all sin committed unto that point was cast away from us never to be brought before us again buy the Lord.

What does it mean to seek the face of God? Ephesians Ch. 6 verse 18; Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; Philippians Ch. 4 verse 6-7; Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

I could keep going on and on, give this some thought to this and study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

May you have a blessed day.

And Jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said, The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son, And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come. Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage. But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise: And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them. But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city. Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy. Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage. So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests .And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment: And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. For many are called, but few are chosen.

Matthew Ch. 22, verse 1-14.

As I begin to ponder on these verses, I am reminded of the day the Lord spoke to me and said come, he gave me an invitation to be his son, and invitation to be part of the bride. What do you mean bride, the church, those born again believers in Jesus Christ, who have been down to the fountain and got a drink of living water are part of the bride. When ever it comes time, he will send for his bride, the church, and we will be changed in a moment and a twinkling of an eye call up to meet him in the air and so hall we be with the Lord. I did not know all about it the day I was saved, I had to be on the milk a little while, however I began to learn, got on the meat and have been happy every since. Has it always been easy, he never said it would be easy, however he mad a great promised “I’ll never leave your nor forsake you, I’ll go all the way with you, even to the end of the world.” And he said I will make a way for your escape then the adversary, ole Satan comes against us. So many lost people today are being called, but failing to choose and unless they choose to accept the free gift they will be as this one that was bound and cast into outer darkness which is the lake of fire. Why, because they are not covered buy the blood. It takes the blood, without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin. Jesus paid the price, he was beaten, stripped, spit upon, mocked, had the beard plucked from his face and laid down his life freely so you and I can go to heaven. O, I don’t want to hear him say depart from me, I want to hear him say well done thou good and faithful servant. Would not want to be in the shoes of those who will hear him say those awful words, I never knew you, what some don’t understand about that is this, he did not know then in pardon and remission of there sins. He knows everyone, and every eye will be hold the face of Jesus.

[1] Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;
[2] And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;
[3] And did all eat the same spiritual meat;
[4] And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.
[5] But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.
[6] Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.
[7] Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.
[8] Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.
[9] Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.
[10] Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.
[11] Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
[12] Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.
[13] There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
